Police looking for six suspects after knife-point robbery in Waterloo

Regional police are investigating after a person-on-person robbery in Waterloo.

The incident happened just after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning in the area of King Street North and Bridgeport Road East.

According to police a group of six unknown suspects swarmed the victim, brandished a knife and demanded their personal belongings.

They then fled the area on foot down Bridgeport Road towards Regina Street North. The victim, a 19-year-old was not hurt.

The suspects have been described as wearing all black hoodies with blue face masks.

Police believe the incident was targeted.
