PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Matthews International Corp. (MATW) on Thursday reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $2.3 million.
On a per-share basis, the Pittsburgh-based company said it had profit of 7 cents. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and non-recurring costs, were 80 cents per share.
The casket and memorial manufacturer posted revenue of $359.4 million in the period.
Matthews International shares have fallen 44% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $21.21, a fall of 40% in the last 12 months.
