Online voters select design for new playground in Cambridge

The community has spoken when it comes to a new playground at Hill 60 Park in Cambridge.

The city was seeking feedback on two concept designs for the renewed playground earlier this summer.

Almost 200 people cast their vote in an online poll and 58 per cent selected “The Factory” design.

The city says the new playground will feature bright colours, imaginative structures, two slides, climbing features, a four-piece swing set, and interactive play elements.

There will also be accessible seating and a ramp to the play area.

Construction on the new playground is expected to start in spring of 2027.
