Motorcyclist seriously hurt after losing control on roadway

A Kitchener man in his thirties is recovering from serious injuries after police said he lost control of his motorcycle.

The crash Sunday night around 9:15 p.m. reportedly saw the bike driven off the roadway, and the driver thrown from the vehicle.

It happened in the Homer Watson Boulevard and Old Carriage Road area of Kitchener, right near the border of the Pioneer Park and Doon South neighbourhoods.

The 35-year-old man driving was seriously hurt, and sent to hospital.

The intersection was closed for several hours overnight, and reopened for traffic Monday morning.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
