Collision closes portion of Walker Road in Wilmot Township

Waterloo Regional Police have closed Walker Road in Wilmot Township between Bridge Street and Oxford-Waterloo Road.

The closure, just south of New Hamburg is in place for a collision investigation.

According to police, a cyclist was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area as the investigation remains ongoing.
