KW Titans eye Super League Championship title

The KW Titans have another chance to claim the Basketball Super League Championship.
It would be a first for the Titans, now nearing the end of their ninth season. Game 4 of the best-of-five series is Monday night in Sudbury.
The Titans lead the series 2-1 against the Sudbury Five, who denied the Titans the championship title last week with a 121-106 blowout in Game 3.
Head Coach Cliff Clinkscales spoke on the Mike Farwell Show on 570 NewsRadio, on what it has taken to get this far in the post-season.
“Just have a winning mindset, and a championship mindset, and that’s not just when the season starts, that’s just walking the walk and talking the talk every day,” said Coach Cliff.
“That starts in practice, that starts in drills, acting like a champion, conducting yourself like a champion.”
Coach Cliff adds that although they have played their best in this series at home, they are looking to avoid a Game 5 on Wednesday at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
“You can see it, you can almost touch it, you know it’s right there. But they ain’t gonna to give it to you, you still gotta earn it, you still gotta put the work in every day. Nothing in life comes easy.”
“All the work we’ve been putting in all year, we’re going to need all that and more for Game 4.”
A watch party for Game 4 is being held at the Edelweiss Tavern in Kitchener Monday night.
Tickets for Game 5 back in Kitchener are on sale now, and will be automatically refunded if the Titans win Monday.
