Home invasion in Waterloo believed to be targeted: WRPS

Police believe a home invasion in Waterloo over the weekend was targeted.

Sunday, around 3:50 a.m., three suspects allegedly forced their way inside a residence in the Albert Street and Bearinger Road area.

The trio of suspects assaulted the victim, stole multiple items, and fled.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries resulting from the attack.

Investigators believe the break-in was targeted and isolated.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Waterloo Regional Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
