Regional police make arrest in connection to string of thefts in Cambridge

A 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a string of retail thefts in Cambridge.

According to Waterloo regional police, the man went to several stores in Cambridge between March 2025 and February 2026, stealing merchandise on at least nine different occasions.

On Saturday, police were able to identify and locate the man in connection to the thefts.

The 42-year-old has been charged with 10 counts of theft under 5,000 dollars and will appear in court this July.
