Police search for suspect in Cambridge convenience store robbery

Waterloo regional police are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery at a Cambridge convenience store.

Police say a lone male suspect with a knife walked into a business and confronted an employee. He stole cash and fled on foot.

No one was hurt in the incident, which occurred around 2 p.m. on Feb. 5 in the Elgin Street North and Linwood Avenue area.

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10”, with a thin build. He was wearing black pants and brown boots at the time.
