Kitchener Rangers look to defend The Aud against Owen Sound Attack

The Kitchener Rangers are set for a pair of games against divisional rivals this weekend, with a visit from the Owen Sound Attack on Friday night at The Aud.

The Blueshirts will have plenty of confidence coming into Friday’s match-up after beating the London Knights 5-2 on Tuesday.

The Attack have lost two games on the bounce, their latest defeat coming at the hands of the Barrie Colts on Wednesday night. The only thing keeping the Attack from the bottom of the Midwest Division is the woeful Guelph Storm.

Rangers forward Luca Romano will look to impress on Friday, as he’s scored four goals and added one assist in three games against Owen Sound so far this season.

Friday’s contest is the fourth of eight meetings between these two sides this season.

The Rangers are currently sitting in second place in the OHL, 5 points behind the London Knights in first.

On Saturday, the Rangers head south to face another divisional rival: the Erie Otters.
