World Cup watch-party and fan fest in downtown Kitchener

Team Canada may have been eliminated but there is still plenty of World Cup action worth celebrating.

Canada Celebrates the FIFA World Cup 2026, takes over Carl Zehr Square at Kitchener City Hall, Saturday, July 11.

It’s a family-0friendly event and watch-party with live music from Toronto’s Reggaddiction. Fans can explore soccer-themed activities like skills challenges. There will also be cultural programming and check out the food trucks and the licenced beer garden.

Of course, the two quarter final matches will be on the big screen. The first game kicks-off at 5 p.m. so get there early to claim the best spot.

The party begins at 3 p.m. and is free to attend.
