Motorcyclist dies after crash with transport truck on Cedar Creek Road

A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a transport truck in North Dumfries.

The serious crash happened around 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon on Cedar Creek Road near Dumfries Road.

Road closures for the investigation were in place for several hours. Police say the 19-year-old man on the motorcycle died on scene.

The 38-year-old man from Kitchener driving the truck, was not hurt.

No charges have been laid at this time as the investigation is still ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Waterloo Regional Police.
