Five Kitchener Rangers off to NHL training camps this week

Five of your East Avenue Blue are off to NHL Training Camps beginning Friday.

Three of them are part of the teams’ on-ice leadership this season.

Captain Matthew Andonovski will be joined by alternate captain Luke Ellinas at the Ottawa Senators camp.

Andonovski is already a draft pick and signed prospect for the Senators blue line.

Trent Swick, forward and alternate captain this year for the Rangers, is set to attend the Golden Knights camp.

Swick was selected by Vegas in the sixth round of the 2024 NHL Draft.

Rangers goalie Jackson Parsons, and defenceman Max Dirracolo will head to camps with the Los Angeles Kings and Florida Panthers respectively.

Both Parsons and Dirracolo are free agents.

Those camps run from September 13-16.
