Police investigating crash involving GRT bus in downtown Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police responded to a crash involving a Grand River Transit (GRT) bus in downtown Kitchener on Tuesday afternoon.

Police confirmed the crash happened around 4 p.m. on Duke Street.

Two vehicles were involved, including the GRT bus.

GRT confirmed to CityNews 570 that there were no reported injuries to customers in the crash.

Duke Street was closed between Ontario Street and Young Street for the investigation. The road reopened shortly after 6 p.m.

The investigation remains ongoing.
