Waterloo prepares for its final Art Market of the summer

Over four Art Markets have come and gone through Waterloo’s Public Square, now, the city is now getting ready for its last of the summer season.
Each market invites a different group of vendors for every event, bringing a changing selection of handmade goods that are created locally.
The market will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with live music scheduled to start at 7 p.m., held at Waterloo Public Square. Admission to attend the family-friendly event is free. Though this event isn’t just for vendors, there will be live music too. Starting off for the Aug. 14, market, Maria Gabriella will be performing live.
On Waterloo’s events page, the city describes Gabriella as a mix of indie, folk and rock sounds. She will be performing from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Finally, Next Winter will then take over the stage. Also described as an indie band, they bring a fresh and lively sound; they’ll perform from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., wrapping up the event.
Organizers of this event are recommending that you bring cash, as some vendors cannot accept card payments.
The Art Market is weather dependent, in the event of rain or other severe weather, the market will be cancelled.
