Police investigating after Lamborghini stolen in Wilmot

Waterloo Regional Police (WRPS) are investigating after a Lamborghini was stolen in Wilmot Township on Tuesday.
The car was stolen during a buy-and-sell meeting in a parking lot in the area of Notre Dame Drive and Erbs Road.
A man who had arranged to buy the Lamborghini arrived in a white Mercedes Maybach with other people inside the car.
Around 1:50 p.m., the man asked to take the black Lamborghini Aventador for a test drive. The victim allowed the man to sit in the car with the keys inside, and the man closed the door and drove off towards Waterloo. He was followed by the Mercedes.
WRPS’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team are continuing to investigate this incident.
