Incoming provincial NDP leader to visit Waterloo Friday

The soon to be leader of the Ontario NDP will be making a stop in Waterloo on Friday evening.

Marit Stiles will be at a meet and greet with MPP Catherine Fife at the Duke of Wellington at 6 p.m.

A news release says Stiles will also tour local organizations.

Stiles ran unopposed in the race to replace Andrea Horwath, who stepped down as party leader following the party's defeat in last June's provincial election.

The party is expected to confirm Stiles as the new leader on February 4.
