Laurier community mourning death of student

Students and staff at Wilfrid Laurier University are mourning the passing of a second-year student.
Tatiana Maraidas was a student in the Faculty of Science and an indoor track athlete.
Flags at the Waterloo campus will be lowered to half-mast on Tuesday in her honour.
The Dean of Students Office has also been in touch with her family, friends and other Laurier community members to offer support.
Maraidas' funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 12 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Brampton, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
