Bingemans in Kitchener thrilled to lift vaccine requirements

If you're heading to Bingemans in Kitchener, and in fact most restaurants, gyms and movie theatres, you can put away your proof of vaccination.
Mark Bingeman, the president of Bingemans, believes this is giving consumers confidence they can come back and doing things in the community.
“There's no question that there's going to be a certain percentage of consumers (that will stay away for now), and we certainly respect that,” he said. “We certainly field many questions from consumers on that, but at the same point in time, this type of progression is really beneficial to the industry as a whole.”
Masking is still a requirement, and Bingeman said staff are still following the protocols that remain.
“We'll still have all of our protocols, and increased cleaning and sanitation items still going on, so our staff are still doing their items,” he said.
“The masking requirement is still in place, but it certainly makes it far more easier for everybody to come in and enjoy, and much easier for the staff.”
He said they are already getting calls about weddings, corporate events and meetings.
Bingeman added they're “very bullish” on the future, and things will take time, but things are heading in the right direction.
