GRT offering extended service, free rides on New Year’s Eve

Need a ride on New Year's Eve? Grand River Transit has you covered.

GRT is offering extended service on several routes on New Year's Eve after midnight and 1 a.m.

Some of the bus routes with extended hours include Route 7, Route 51, Route 204, Route 206, Route 302 ION Bus and the Route 301 ION light rail.

Besides extended service, GRT is providing free bus and ION light rail rides after 6 p.m.

When it comes to the morning after, Grand River Transit says they will be operating on a Holiday service schedule for New Year's Day.
