Travel advisory ends for Waterloo Region

Environment Canada issued a winter weather travel advisory for Waterloo Region and surrounding areas late Wednesday afternoon.
The national weather agency says occasional light freezing rain and drizzle moved across the Region, causing some roads and sidewalks to become slippery.
The advisory was lifted around 7 p.m.
