OPP nab alleged drunk driver operating tractor

A 58-year-old man is facing an impaired driving charge for allegedly driving a tractor drunk in Wellington County.
On Wednesday at around 7 a.m., OPP stopped a John Deere tractor on Sideroad 3.
An officer determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol. After failing a roadside screening test, the driver was arrested and taken to an OPP detachment for testing.
William Robinson of Wellington North is charged with Driving with Over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood. His licence was also suspended for 90 days.
He’s due in court October 6th.
