Regional Police are canvassing the Bishop Street area of Cambridge on Thursday in connection to a six-year-old missing person case.
Police say 53-year-old Kathleen Kraehling went missing from her Lena Crescent home in July of 2011.
Although there’s no new information regarding her disappearance, an officer investigating the case noticed that police had never searched a large wooded area behind Kraehling’s home.
As a result, Regional Police were set-up in the Bishop, Can Amera, and Conestoga Boulevard area to conduct a search.

They say they’re hoping to find any new clues, and that foul play is still not suspected at this time.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Waterloo Regional Police South Detective Office at 519 650-8500 ext. 2262 or 2276.
