A temperature record could be set Tuesday

We might just be able to break out those shorts and tee shirts for one more day.

The forecast for Tuesday could be a record breaker with the high temperature more like early July than mid October.

570’s Weather Specialist John Wilson is calling for a high of 25.

The record for this day is 25.6, which was set in 1963.

The normal high for today is just 12 degrees.

Enjoy it while you can, because cooler conditions are on the horizon, as early as tonight.

A cold front is expected to move through the area late this afternoon.

By Friday, we’re looking at a high of only 10 and then only single digit highs for the weekend.
