Kitchener’s Take Back The Night starts at 6pm

Women, transgender, and children will be marching down the streets of Kitchener this evening for the 32nd annual Take Back The Night march.
The rally begins at 6pm in front of Kitchener City Hall.
Event organizers say its a symbolic gesture to say women shouldn’t have to be escorted by men in order to feel safe.
The event aims to address the rights of women and transgender to be safe, without violence, regardless of age, creed, location, numbers or attire.
