Panthers even IBL final

The Kitchener Panthers have evened the IBL championship series with the Barrie Baycats 1-1.

Tanner Nivins and Mike Andrulis each had a home run and two RBI as the Panthers defeated the Baycats 8-2 at Jack Couch Park on Thursday night.

Eric Hall picked up the win, allowing two earned runs and five hits over six innings.

Game 3 of the series will be decided in Barrie on Saturday evening.

The Panthers host game 4 at 7pm on Sunday.
