Guilty plea in April stabbing

A guilty plea from a man charged with stabbing his ex-girlfriend and a police officer during an incident in Cambridge this past April.

30 year old Wesley Laforme pleaded guilty in court this week to stabbing his girlfriend multiple times outside her home on Morning Calm Drive. The officer who arrived at the scene shot Laforme after she had been stabbed in the leg.

The Special Investigations Unit continues to investigate the case.
Laforme is scheduled to be sentenced next Tuesday. He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
