London calling K-W Oktoberfest, annual festival expanding

London will soon get a taste of Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest.
The Western Fair District will host an Oktoberfest of its own over five days this October.
It will feature all things Oktobefest including beer, pretzels and polka.
K-W Oktoberfest’s President, Alfred Lowrick says it shows the Oktoberfest brand is strong not only in Kitchener-Waterloo, but throughout southwestern Ontario.
It marks the first ever expansion for Oktoberfest here.
