Tories plan to win back voters

Ontario Progressive Conservative leadership candidate Christine Elliott says the party has a big job ahead winning back voters.

Elliot says the P-C has become a “toxic brand” that turns off voters — women and young people in particular.

She made the disparaging remarks yesterday near Windsor where she debated her leadership rival — Barrie M-P Patrick Brown.

Brown says the Tories have lost four straight elections because the party establishment that’s backing Elliott came up with lousy campaign policies — like cutting 100-thousand public sector jobs.
