Now that we’re in the last half of summer, many families are looking to get in those last minute vacations.
Minto Schneider with Waterloo Region Tourism tells 570 News there is plenty to do right here in K-W.
“We’ve got so much to offer within the three communities and four townships of Waterloo Region, everything from Cambridge Butterfly to the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market…and all of that within a 15-20 minute drive.”
Schneider adds with the region so close to the GTA, it is realistic for tourists to make a day-trip on a budget.
“There is enough to warrant an overnight stay if you’re coming from Toronto or further from Toronto, but Toronto is the biggest market that’s in our backyard.”
