Kourounis never misses tornado season. And sometimes the tornados just barely miss him. The 44-year-old self-described “professional adventurer” leads people on two-week missions to find natural disasters throughout the world and give people a window into what Mother Nature is capable of. On Sunday evening, the group of three professionals and ten guests were traveling through tiny McCool Junction, Neb., and got to drive underneath a newly formed tornado. The event was captured on video as the group, traveling in two vans, saw a small tornado form in an adjacent field and then pass over the vehicles. The strong winds caused a piece of farm equipment to fly into the air and crash Kourounis’ windshield.

Owner Toshi Karino says the discount has been available for about a year now, but staff don’t draw attention to it and most people don’t even notice.
