11:00am- Wendy Champagne, Director of “Love Under Cuban Skies”, Re: The Montreal-based filmmaker takes a look at the sex tourism industry. The movie is about Canadian (and American) women who vacation in Cuba and get into relationships with Cuban men. In many cases they try to bring the men home with them. It’s a different look from the more prominent male sex tourism that has received so much publicity. The film looks at the subject from a number of angles–economic, legal, and emotional and it follows three relationships. It premieres tonight on CBC Doc Zone.
