Lime Canada e-bikes, e-scooters roll into tri-cities

The rental e-bikes and e-scooters are back.
The Region of Waterloo said hundreds of Lime e-bikes and e-scooters will be ready to rent in the tri-cities until Oct. 31.
Up to 500 bright green e-bikes and 500 e-scooters have been distributed throughout Kitchener, Cambridge and Waterloo.
They replace the orange Neuron e-devices which were previously in the region.
Lime Canada announced back in July it would be coming to Waterloo Region, after it acquired Neuron Canada.
To use the rental e-bikes and e-scooters, you’ll need to download the Lime app.
Under the provincial e-scooter pilot program, riders must be at least 16-years-old and wear a helmet.
The speed limit for e-scooters is 24 km/hr with no driving allowed on sidewalks – only roads, bike lanes, and on trails.
