Faksa nets hat trick, leads Rangers to road win over Oshawa

The Kitchener Rangers improved to 2-1-0-0 on the season with a 5-3 road win over the Oshawa Generals on Sunday.

Radek Faksa recorded a hat trick with one of the goals coming on a penalty shot in the second period. Max Iafrate and Curtis Meighan also scored while Eric Ming, Matia Marcantuoni and rookie Nick Magyar each added two assists

Former Kitchener Ranger Josh Sterk had a goal and two assists in the contest. The Rangers out shot the Generals 24-23. The loss puts the Generals at 2-2-0-0 this season.
