The only thing consistent about this winter, is how inconsistent it’s been.
Dave Phillips, Senior Climatologist at Environment Canada told 570’s Gary Doyle show this morning, this week is again a prime example of the how “up and down” the weather has been.
“We see a couple cool days and then we’re going to be back up on the weekend it’ll be up three or four degrees warmer then normal.”
Phillips says we are not done with the snow just yet, “40% of your annual snowfall occurs after the first of February. There is more snow in the forecast for this week. So we’re not done with the white stuff.”
Looking at this week, Phillips says it’s the perfect example, with temperatures expected to rise above the freezing mark this weekend.
