Calendar sales support Humane Society, 2027 marks 100 years of service

The K-W humane society’s 2027 Pet Calendar will go on sale soon and the proceeds support the organization as it gets ready to mark its 100th anniversary.
A dozen photogenic pets were selected for the calendar after an online competition was held in July.
The contest helped raise more than $32,000 for the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth.
All proceeds from calendar sales will go towards shelter, food, and life-saving care for animals in-need.
The $20 calendars will first be available for purchase at the Dash and Splash fundraiser on Sept. 13.
The next day, they’ll be available at the society’s animal centres, partner locations, and online.
The Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society first formed in 1927 and merged with the Stratford Perth Humane Society in 2012.
