After a summer filled with different workshops, events and Pop Up Museums. The City of Waterloo Museum is getting ready to host its final pop up event for the season.
The pop-up museum will be hosted by Stemotics, encouraging youth to learn through different lessons and activities.
Through the summer, the City of Waterloo Museum has focused on promoting STEM learning through physical, hands-on lessons. As a result, for their final pop-up museum of the year, Lego is making its way onto the tables and into the hands of many hoping to learn.
Focusing on a variety of different subjects related to the science field, some other pop-up events that were held earlier in the year include:
- University of Waterloo Quantum Computing
- University of Waterloo Earth Sciences
- Indus Space – Space Engineering
- Zebra Robotics – Lego robotics

Finally, in the events release, organizers say the goal of the museums is to encourage youth to work and learn together. This museum highlights engineering, using Lego robotics and other coding activities as real-world examples.
The family event is free to attend from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., on Aug. 29, at the City of Waterloo Museum.
