Body of missing Sarnia woman found

Police are confirming that a body found Wednesday in southwestern Ontario is that of a missing Sarnia woman.

Provincial police identified the body discovered Wednesday in a St. Clair Township woodlot as 27-year-old Noelle Paquette, who was reported missing on New Year’s Day.

They say her death is being treated as suspicious, with an autopsy scheduled to occur in London within the next few days.

A dedicated tip line has been set up to gather information on the case.

The number is 855-835-5677.

Police say Paquette was last seen leaving a party in downtown Sarnia around 2am.
