Shots fired in downtown Kitchener

Regional Police have confirmed that they’re investigating shots fired on King Street between Benton and Scott.

Inspector Greg Lamport tells 570 News, there was damage done to a window at the Delta Hotel but no one was hurt.

Police were called to the area around 3:20 this morning.

At this point, police are still looking for the person or persons responsible.

King Street is closed in the area as police investigate. It’s expected to remain closed until at least 9 a.m.
