Shortly after, one of the men smashed one of the Toyota’s windows and was attempting to enter the vehicle when one of the homeowners came outside to scare them off. The unidentified suspects fled in a silver sedan.
Later in the day, another Eastview Road resident reported an attempted theft a 2024 Toyota Tundra. The victim was reportedly alerted by the truck’s alarm, and came outside to see a man running from the truck and into a silver sedan. One of the truck’s windows was reportedly smashed, with wires pulled out from underneath the truck’s dash.
Around the same time, a resident living near Grange Road and Victoria Road North reported that he saw a man walking around his parked Honda CRV. He yelled at the man, who got into the passenger side of a different CRV which then fled the area.
