Funeral for Betty Albrecht today

A funeral service will be held in Kitchener today for the wife of Kitchener-Conestoga MP Harold Albrecht.

Albrecht’s wife of 39 years, Betty, collapsed on election day after suffering a brain hemorrhage.

She died in hospital on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Harper is among those expected to attend the service.

Albrecht has represented Kitchener-Conestoga since 2006.
