Sri Lanka will take on India in tomorrow’s Cricket World Cup final and a Kitchener man who once played in the tournament will be among the more than one billion watching.
Robin Ramsammy represented Canada in 1986 and 1992. He tells 570 News, cricket is a tough game to play.
He says there is a lot of training that goes into it and he always tells people, “cricket is an art.”
Ramsammy was in Sri Lanka to watch them take on Pakistan earlier in the tournament.
He says it was a great experience and describes the atmosphere as “pandemonium.”
He says tomorrow’s game will be a tough one, but he’s backing Sri Lanka.
