They say that laughter is the best medicine. If that’s the case, you can get your prescription filled tomorrow in Uptown Waterloo.
The Uptown Waterloo Comedy Festival kicks off tomorrow and ends on Saturday.
They’re not only helping your health by making you laugh; they ask everyone to bring a donation to the Foodbank of Waterloo Region. Phil LeConte is the Executive Producer of the Festival. He says they did well last year but want to do much better this time around. Their goal heading into this year is to raise 1000 pounds of food and $4000.
