Robbery in Kitchener Monday Afternoon

Regional Police are looking for a suspect after a man was assaulted while walking along a trail off Fischer Hallman Road late Monday afternoon.
Officers say the man was approached from behind in the Forest Heights area, punched in the stomach and then knocked to the ground.
Authorities say the suspect rifled through his belongings but fled empty handed – last seen running toward Shadeland Crescent.
He’s described as white, 6’1″ to 6’2″, with medium length black hair, clean shaven and wearing a black jacket.
