Paintball vandals caught

Woodstock Police report an early-morning arrest of a pair of paint-gun wielding kids.
Police report two youths were arrested early this morning (THU) after police received numerous reports of damage that had been caused by paint pellets throughout the City of Woodstock.
The first call to police came around 12:30 a.m. from a Sydenham Street resident who reported damage to their window.
The just 10 minutes, police were alerted by two Falcon Dr. residents who said their homes had just been sprayed by paint balls.
Shortly after that, police received four more similar complaints.
But then at 2:20 a.m., a Woodstock Police Service marked police cruiser was travelling south on Springbank Avenue overpass when it was struck by paint pellets.
Uniform patrol officers immediately flooded the area and located two youths in the area.
The two Woodstock male youths were arrested without incident.
The amount of damage is unknown at this time.
They are facing charges of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous, and Mischief Under $5000.00.
There were no injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
Police say the extent of damage to the various homes is unknown at this time, and expect more complaints may come in as people wake up.
