Fatal crash

An Erin Township teen is dead following a late afternoon crash in Wellington County.

OPP say the 18-year-old female died in hospital after the vehicle she was driving left 27 Sideroad just east of the Sixth Line around 5:30 yesterday afternoon and struck a hydro pole.

Police say a passenger – a 14-year-old boy – is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

So far, no names have been released.
