Police officer facing charges

A ten year member with Waterloo Regional Police is facing charges.

Constable Gerry Christopher has been charged in connection with an off-duty incident on March 18th.

Christopher faces charges of assault and being unlawfully in a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence.

He’s been assigned to the Division 3 Detective Branch and has been re-assigned to administrative duties.
