Turkey earthquake

A strong earthquake in Turkey this morning has left at least 57 people dead.
The magnitude-six quake hit the eastern province of Elazig collapsing houses in three villages while people slept.
Turkey, which lies atop the North Anatolian fault is vulnerable to quakes. In 1999, 18,000 people were killed when two powerful quakes struck the northwestern part of the country.
