The regional portion of your property tax bill will rise
2.6 per cent this year.

It means just over 37 dollars more for the average homeowner.

The billion dollar budget passed on Wednesday night.

Councillors made some last minute cuts including 350-thousand dollars from the roads budget.

But, the region is moving ahead and hiring 13 new employees.
