Cambridge Memorial Hospital is dealing with an outbreak in its medicine unit.
Visitor restrictions have been imposed after 14 patients and two staff fell ill.
Hospital officials are asking for just one visitor per patient.
People feeling ill or who felt ill in the past 48 hours are asked not to visit.
Doctors say the virus causes vomiting and diarrhea, is highly contagious and is spreading throughout the city.
